The Strollers made the short trip to ‘Little Ibrox’ to face Clough Rangers Athletic as they looked to bounce back from last week’s last minute defeat to Ballynure.
 
The game started with Clough on the ascendancy but Jamie Speirs’ 7th minute strike found the bottom corner via a deflection following good work from Paul Gilchrist and Stephen Cochrane.

Wakehurst started this game at a good pace and on the third minute, Zach Barr was unlucky to see his well struck shot saved by the visiting goalkeeper. 
 
The hosts opened the scoring on the 8th minute as they broke from defending a Brantwood corner and Stewart Nixon played a ball into the path of Jonny Dallas who dribbled the ball fully 30 yards before slotting it past the keeper.

The Strollers made the short trip to Antrim Forum to face Ballynure Old Boys ‘B’ who had won their season opener 4-0 against Carnmoney and were boosted by some of their first team players joining the panel - including former FC Porto and Nigerian international striker Kevin Amuneke.

The firsts hosted bottom of the league Desertmartin at Mill Meadow and ran out convincing winners following a terrific first half which found them five goals to the good at the interval.

Corey Price, David Johnston and Stevie Mellon returned after missing the Newtowne game while new signings David McLaughlin and Jonny Dalls went straight in to the starting line up with fellow new boy Stephen Cochrane on the bench.

Wakehurst made the long trip to the North West to face reigning BPL Champions Newtowne in Limavady this afternoon with a host of players unavailable.

Conor Ross (suspended), Corey Price, John Alexander, David Johnston (all injured) added to Peter Adams, Stevie Mellon and Conor Gregg being unavailable meant Charles Allen, Roy Colville and Matthew Logan were promoted from the reserves in to the first team panel.

The Strollers played out a hard fought 1-1 draw with Davy Paul's FC Penarol at Waveney tonight and after a goalless first half in which Dean Adams made some terrific saves to keep the match at a stalemate, Penarol opened the scoring on 68 minutes when a Ryan McCartney delivery was headed home at the back post.

Strollers took a while to get going in Ballysillan this afternoon and fell behind when a mix up at the back allowed a home striker to get through with Dean Adams and finish well with a lob.
 
Moments later, a Stephen Quigley shot was blocked and fell to Jason Connolly inside the box who’s first time effort was also blocked at the expense of a corner before Swifts cleared.
 
Ballysillan were the better side in the first half an hour and could’ve been 2-0 ahead but were denied by the post but the visitors got back on lev
