The Strollers got back to winning ways this week with a very professional performance against a good Mountainview team.

It took the strollers just eight minutes to take the lead after high pressing from captain Charles Allen saw him dispossess the Mountainview centre back just outside the penalty area and drive into the box to cooly slot the ball past the keeper for his fourth goal of the season.

After the goal, the Strollers had a period of about 25 minutes of dominance but couldn't add to their lead and just before half time the visitors got back into the game with their striker slotting the ball past Dean Adams minutes before the interval.

Half Time: Strollers 1-1 Mountainview

The second half started the way the strollers wanted with them racing out of the blocks and taking the game to Mountainview, and looked very dangerous especially with their set piece deliveries from Jordan Walker.

It was from a quick free kick that the Strollers second goal came from when Walker found Allen who beat three men and laid off Matthew Logan to chip the keeper with his left foot and continue his impressive goal scoring season.

The game was wrapped up when the impressive George fleck won a free kick on the left wing which Jordan Walker fizzed in, and beat everyone including the goalkeeper to round off an impressive performance.

Big well done to all three U17 who got more minutes under their belt yesterday and didn't at all look out of place, namely Mark Cochrane, Jamie Stevenson and Anthony Shaw.
